A cool south to southwesterly airstream is over the southeast of the country. A
cloud band associated with a cold front extends from central NSW coast to a low
over the Tasman Sea. Areas of low cloud extend over eastern NSW, southeast SA
and southern parts of Victoria and Tasmania.

A cloud band associated with a strong cold front is approaching southern WA from
the Indian Ocean. High level cloud ahead of this system is streaming over the
lower west coast of WA.

The rest of the country remains generally cloud-free under the influence of a
large high pressure system.
