Ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen is evident over far north Queensland with associated
convective bands generating showers and thunderstorms.

 across the north and east of the country.

Extensive cloud band from Queensland east coast to eastern NSW and adjacent
Tasman Sea associated with a low pressure trough extending from ex-tropical
cyclone Owen through eastern parts of Queensland to a low centred over the
southwest border region of South Australia and Victoria.
Extensive area of cloud also covers Tasmania, much of Victoria and southeastern
parts of South Australia.

Areas of cloud evident along a trough extending from southwest WA through to the
NT. The central part of the country and much of WA except the far southwest, is
cloud free.
