Much of the continent is mostly cloud free as a large high pressure system in
the Bight dominates the weather.

A southwesterly airstream across the eastern sea board is generating areas of
low cloud while a westerly airstream across Tasmania is generating a band of
mainly middle and low cloud across the western half of Tasmania.

Apart from areas of low cloud about southeast SA and a band of cloud over and to
the northwest of the Pilbara coast in WA, the rest of the continent is mostly
clear.
