A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is directing a moist onshore flow and patchy low cloud onto the New South Wales coast.

Areas of low and middle level cloud can be seen over the southeast of Queensland as well as parts of the interior of the state. This cloud is due to a weak surface trough and upper low.

A cold front and its associated cloud band are moving across southern WA while an area of cold-air convective cloud, associated with a trough, is grazing the far southwest of the state.
