A cold front with an extensive cloud band sweeps over southeastern Australia as
it begins to slip southwards. A second developing cold front further west moving
over western parts of SA has an associated cloud band over the region with
distinctive open cellular cloud over the Great Australian Bight in the cold
postfrontal airmass.

A thin band of cloud fed by tropical moisture from the tropical Indian Ocean
south of indonesia can be seem moving across the Gascoyne coast and into the
goldfields region of WA. The remainder of the country remains relatively clear
under the influence of a high pressure ridge.
