A surface trough can be seen moving through the Great Australian Bight which is
bringing some patchy high level cloud across areas of South Australia, Victoria,
western New South Wales and Tasmania.

Middle and high level cloud can be seen flowing from the Indian Ocean, over
southwest WA and out over the Bight which is also associated with a surface

To the east of Australia, high cloud is streaming across the Coral Sea ahead of
an upper level trough. Speckled cellular cloud extends across the Tasman Sea and
is associated with the cold air mass following a cold front that has moved
through the region in the last 24hours. 

The remainder of the continent is mainly cloud free under the influence of a
high pressure ridge extending across central Australia.
