Ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen is located over the Coral Sea with a few thunderstorms
near it's centre. Patchy low cloud is being driven onto the central and southern
coasts of Queensland associated with the moist onshore flow wrapping around the

Over the continent, a low level trough along the NSW north coast combined with
onshore winds is developing some low cloud along the New South Wales coastal

Elsewhere an low level trough extends from over the Great Australian Bight
through central parts of the continent and is driving an extensive middle level
cloud band across southern parts of SA and across Victoria. Low cloud is being
pushed over southern coastal parts of Western Australia by the southerly wind
flow on the western flank of a low embedded within the trough.

An active trough over the Northern Territory has seen extensive thunderstorms
develop over the northern parts of the NT.
