A trough is generating a mainly high level cloud band across coastal parts of
central QLD, stretching into the Tasman Sea.

The Top End is covered by scattered low level cloud and thunderstorms are seen
over the north and east Kimberley and northwestern NT.

Across the south east of the country, a cold front is moving over southeast SA,
VIC and TAS. It is bringing some thunderstorms to western VIC and a mid to high
level cloud band moving with the front. Speckled low level cloud is over the
Bight in the cold air following the front.

High cloud sits over central parts of Western Australia, otherwise the rest of
the country remains relatively cloud-free.
