A low pressure system is centred just off the central New South Wales coast with
associated active band of cloud with embedded thunderstorms. To the west of this
system areas of low cloud can be seen about the south coast of South Australia
and Victoria within a moist southerly onshore flow.

An area of isolated thunderstorms just off the Kimberley coast is associated
with a weak slow moving low pressure system.

A broad area of low pressure over the Tasman Sea is producing an area of mainly
middle level cloud and thunderstorms. The southwestern, central and northeastern
parts of the country are mainly cloud free under the influence of a strong ridge
of high pressure.
