A low pressure trough near the central Western Australia is producing isolated
thunderstorms and areas of middle level cloud.

A band of middle and high level cloud, associated with a middle level trough,
extends from northwestern WA across South Australia and into New South Wales.

Cloud is streaming ahead of a developing cold front over the Southern Ocean to
Tasmania.

Low level cloud over tropical Queensland, Victoria and southeast SA are due to
the onshore flows driven by a high pressure centred over southeast Australia.
Skies are mostly clear over the remainder of country under a ridge of high
pressure.
