A cold front is approaching WA from the west and cloud associated with a
prefrontal trough is moving over the far southwest of the state. Patchy middle
level cloud can also be seen over parts of the interior of WA and is associated
with a second inland trough.

A broad mass of patchy cloud across the Northern Territory and Queensland is due
to an upper level disturbance and links to a frontal cloud band over the Tasman
Sea.

A small low is moving up the east coast of Tasmania bringing patchy low and
middle level cloud to much of the state. Patchy cloud can also be seen over
parts of southeastern Australia within a broad southerly airflow to the east of
a ridge.
