A cold front is progressing through southern districts of SA which connects to a
low over the Bight. Southwesterly winds behind the front are bringing showers to
the southern coast. Frontal systems embedded in a westerly airstream are visible
further southwest of Western Australia.

Middle and high level cloud is streaming over the southeast of Australia and is
associatied with an upper level trough. High level cloud associated with a
jetstream is drifting across southern Queensland.

A high pressure system situated off the NSW coast is directing fresh
southeasterly winds with showers along the Queensland coast.

Mostly clear conditions elsewhere over Australia due to a ridge of high
pressure.
