IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1200UTC Chart Issued at 11:38 pm EST Thursday on 18 August 2022 A cold front with an extensive cloud band sweeps over southeastern Australia as it begins to slip southwards. The distinctive open cellular cloud is evident south of SA and western Vic in the cold postfrontal airmass behind the front. A thin band of cloud fed by tropical moisture from the tropical Indian Ocean south of indonesia can be seem moving across the Gascoyne coast and into the goldfields region of WA. The remainder of the country remains relatively clear under the influence of a high pressure ridge.
