A cloud band with active and vigorous embedded thunderstorms is moving through
the east of the country, driven by a cold front and surface trough.

Cloud over the Kimberley region and northwest Northern Territory is being driven
by a trough of low pressure.

A cloud band associated with a cold front can be seen approaching the far
southwest of the country.

A ridge of high pressure extends over The Bight from the west and is trapping
some low cloud over southwestern parts of WA. Conditions are clear across the
rest of the country.
