IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1800UTC Chart Issued at 5:49 am EST Sunday on 26 June 2022 A band of low to mid level cloud along the cold front that crossed Tasmania overnight is wrapping around a low pressure system to the south of Tasmania. Patchy upper level cloud, associated with a jet stream to the east of an amplifying upper level trough, is streaming through the interior of the continent. Areas of low cloud extend over the south of the continent in the onshore wind flow. A band of high level cloud is approaching to the Great Australian Bight ahead of a cold front that is heading towards Western Australia from the west. The rest of the continent is mostly clear.
