IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1800UTC Chart Issued at 7:07 am EDT Saturday on 25 March 2023 A trough in the Pilbara region generates areas of cloud and convective activity through the Kimberley, Pilbara and into southern Western Australia associated with a cloud band down to the Bight. Isolated storms in the Top End of the Northern Territory are the remnants of daytime convection there. A low pressure system in northern NSW extends a trough into Qld, with associated thunderstorm activity seen in NSW and southern Qld. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free apart from areas of low level cloud over soughern and southeastern coastal reagions and southeast ranges.
