A cold front lies just off the coast of southeast South Australia and western
Victoria with a band of cloud while a pre-frontal trough extends from western
Tasmania through central Victoria and western NSW to southwest Qld. A large band
of cloud with a few embedded thunderstorms is associated with this trough and
covers much of the southeast of the country.

Cloud associated with an inland trough can be seen over southern NT extending
into the Kimberley region of WA. Another surface trough across inland Qld is
generating areas of cloud and a few thunderstorms along the trough.

Moist onshore flow is generating areas of low cloud over the coastal and nearby
areas of WA.

The rest of the country is mostly clear.
