Isolated showers and thunderstorms over far northeast New South Wales and
southeast Queensland are associated with an active surface trough. 

A broad area of low pressure over northern Australia combined with low level
moisture is triggering very isolated thunderstorms over the Top End.

Middle level cloud through central WA is streaming down from a tropical low over
the Indian Ocean and extends across the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Interior districts
of Western Australia and the Northern Territory's Lasseter District.

High cloud ahead of a weak cold front moving through the Bight extends over

Elsewhere the country is relatively cloud free with a ridge of high pressure
extending over southeast Australia.
