A strong cold front is moving across the southeast parts of the Australian
mainland and to the east of Tasmania.  A large mass of cold unstable air is
visible to the west of the front. A cloud band associated with a second cold
front is over southern South Australia and Victoria.

Low cloud is over southern parts of  Western Australia in the wake of the
fronts.

Low cloud is affecting parts of tropical east Queensland in an onshore
airstream.

Middle level cloud extends over the western Pilbara region from the Indian
Ocean.

Clear conditions persist through the interior and across the north of the
country.
