A cloud band extends from central Western Australia through South Australia to
New South Wales. The cloud then links to a cold front moving across the Tasman

Low level cloud can be observed in the cool onshore flow west of the cold front
over Tasmania and eastern Victoria.

Thunderstorms are observed within middle level cloud over the Kimberley
district, the Top End and northern Queensland.

The remainder of the continent is mostly cloud-free due to high pressure ridges.
