Middle to high level cloud is over the interior of Western Australia and South
Australia. This is being generated by an upper level trough. Numerous
thunderstorms can be seen over central and southeastern WA.

Low cloud over western Tasmania and parts of southern VIC is from moisture
trapped under the temperature inversion caused by the high.

Low cloud can also be can be seen along the northern Queensland coast due to
onshore wind flow.
