A band of cloud with embedded thunderstorms extends south, east of a surface
trough, from northern Queensland through eastern NSW to eastern Victoria.

Areas of cloud with embedded thunderstorms also covers central and northern WA
and much of the Northern Territory.

A cold front and its associated cloud band has move east of Tasmania into the
southern Tasman Sea.

Onshore flow due to a high pressure system in the Bight is bringing low cloud to
Victoria, Tasmania and the southeast coast of South Australia.
