Thunderstorms remain active near a low pressure trough over the Top End and
through north Queensland. Patchy cloud, which is the remnants of yesterday's
thunderstorms, is visible along the trough through the central interior of
Queensland to Hervey Bay.  

Patchy middle and high level cloud is drifitng across the southern half of
Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales ahead of an upper level

Onshore winds are producing low cloud about the NSW coast and ranges. West to
southwesterly winds are bringing low level cloud to southern Victoria and the
southeast coast of South Australia. Further south, strong westerlies are
resulting in low cloud about the western and southern parts of Tasmania.
