A broad mass of cloud with embedded thunderstorms lies over large parts of northern Australia. This cloud is associated with areas of low pressure across the north and a surface trough over inland parts of Queensland which extends into the Tasman Sea.
A band of cloud with embedded thunderstorms extends from coastal areas of South Australia, over parts of western NSW and Victoria to the east coast of Tasmania. This cloud is associated with another trough.
Patchy low-level cloud can be seen about mostly coastal areas of the Southwest Land Division of WA within a moist onshore airflow.
