Cloud with isolated thunderstorms extends from the northwest of WA into SA and
is due to a surface and an upper level trough. Patchy high cloud can be seen
streaming across the southeast of the country ahead of the upper level trough.

Low cloud can be seen near the NSW, southern QLD and the southwest WA coasts
with onshore winds.

A high pressure system over southeast Australia extends a ridge along
Queensland's east coast. This is causing clear conditions over land areas in the
tropical north. Isolated convective activity can be seen over the waters to the
north of the continent.
