IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 29 May 2015 Issued at 6:02 pm EST Friday on 29 May 2015 A broad, slow moving cloud band extends from the northwest of WA through most of South Australia into NSW. This cloud is due to an upper level trough. A cold front extends from eastern New South Wales out over the Tasman sea. Cold air convective cloud behind the front covers western and southern parts of Tasmania and southern Victoria. Low level convective cloud also covers large parts of southern WA due to the moist southerly air flow. Convective cloud near the northeast coast of the Top End is associated with a weak trough and easterly surge over the Arafura Sea.
