Convective cloud and thunderstorms are visible across the northern tropics, and
in central NSW extending up to southern QLD, associated with a series of surface
troughs.

A developing Tropical Low off the northwest WA coast is generating large areas
of mid to high level cloud across northern WA, spreading across inland parts of
the continent.

A large mid to high level cloud band is moving eastwards ahead of cold front
west of Tasmania.

Moist onshore flow is bringing areas of low level cloud to the far southwest WA
coast, northeast NSW and southeast QLD.
