Middle and high level cloud, associated with a trough and low pressure system
over the Indian Ocean, extends over southwestern parts of WA.

Low and middle level cloud associated with a cold front is moving across
Victoria and the far southeast of South Australia. High cloud in advance of this
system covers parts of New South Wales and southeast Queensland, while cold-air
convective cloud in its wake covers parts of Tasmania.

Cloud embedded within a moist southeasterly trade wind flow lies over parts of
the Top End.

A broad area of deep convective cloud can be seen near the Solomon Islands and
is associated with Tropical Cyclone "Raquel".
