IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1200UTC Chart Issued at 1:16 am EDT Wednesday on 01 February 2023 A low near the border of the Northern Territory and Western Australia is bringing convective activity on a trough through the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales into a low off the New South Wales coast. Another trough from a heat low through inland Western Australia is bringing some convective activity through the state's interior. Thunderstorms over Far North Queensland are bringing thick cloud to the area. Patchy low cloud covers much of South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales coastlines, due to a moist onshore flow. A cold front in the Bight approaches Tasmania and Victoria. The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
