A high pressure system over the eastern Bight is directing a low-level cloud
over southeast Australia in a weak moist onshore flow.

The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Nathan are off the north Kimberley coast.
Middle level cloud is streaming southwards from this area. Thunderstorms are
visible over northern parts of the Kimberley, mostly offshore. A surface trough
over northwest Queensland has also triggered some convective activity over the
southeast Gulf of Carpentaria and adjacent inland areas.

The middle to upper-level cloud resulting from vigorous convective activity
yesterday over western WA has now advected over southwest South Australia and
southeast WA.
