A cloud band over the Coral Sea is bringing patchy rain to the east tropical
coast of Queensland.

Isolated thunderstorms can be also seen near the Top End.

Interaction of an upper level trough and a broad surface trough has produced an
extensive and developing cloud band with embedded thunderstorms over Western
Australia.

Moist onshore flow driven by a high pressure system south of the Bight is
bringing areas of low cloud to southeast Australia, while keeping the rest of
the country mostly clear.
