Areas of low cloud can be seen near southeast South Australia, Tasmania,
Victoria and southern NSW under a ridge of high pressure.

Interaction between a broad surface trough and an upper level trough has
resulted in an extensive cloud band with embedded thunderstorms over the
northern and central parts of Western Australia.

A cold front has clipped the southwest of WA, areas of low cloud can be seen the
southwest coast of WA in the wake of the cold front.
