IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 28 February 2015 Issued at 12:23 pm EDT Saturday on 28 February 2015 Thunderstorm activity continues over the Tropical north of the country. A trough of low pressure extends from near the Top End through central Queensland to the eastern parts of NSW. Areas of active thunderstorms and patchy areas of cloud cover much of the inland area of Western Australia and western parts of South Australia, these are associated with a broad area of low pressure. A developing cold front and a deepening low pressure system to the south of South Australia have generated an extensive area of low and middle-level cloud that extends east to Victoria, Tasmania and eastern NSW. Mostly clear conditions for the remainder of the country.
