IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 2 March 2015 Issued at 6:28 pm EDT Monday on 02 March 2015 A thunderstorm complex is over the central interior of Western Australia. Cloud over southern WA is streaming over the Bight, Victoria and Tasmania towards the south of New Zealand. This cloud is being generated by the cold front lying west of Tasmania together with a strong upper trough just west of WA. Areas of low cloud are over the New South Wales and southeast Queensland coasts from a moist onshore airstream. Thunderstorm activity continues over the tropical north of the country.
