A cold front is moving through the Tasman Sea and extends a trough across far
northeastern NSW. A second cold front is moving across Victoria with a pool of
cold air in its wake extending over central and southeastern SA, Victoria,
Tasmania and southern NSW as a broad area of cellular cloud.

An upper level trough is responsible for middle and high level cloud bands over
northern and central parts of the continent with thunderstorms over the Northern
Interior of WA.

Low cloud is affecting parts of the Queensland northeast coast in a moist
onshore airstream.
