A trough over the Coral Sea is generating convective cloud and thunderstorms
near and over the North Tropical Coast of Qld.

Thunderstorms are also occurring across the Pilbara, western Top End and Cape
York Penninsula.

A cold front crossing the southeastern states is associated with a band of
middle to high level cloud with isolated thunderstorms over eastern Vic. A broad
area of speckled low level cloud follows this front.

Moist onshore flow is bringing areas of low level cloud to southern WA.

The remainder of the country is mainly cloud free apart from patches of low
level cloud over the tropics.
