A broad cloud band extends from the Kimberley across the Northern Territory to
the southeast of the continent and is associated with surface and upper level
troughs. The thunderstorms earlier this evening to the west of this cloud band,
over southeastern SA and the far west of Victoria, have dissipated overnight.

A cold front is approaching WA from the Indian Ocean and low cloud ahead of this
system already covers parts of the west of the state. Patchy low cloud can also
be seen about the east coast of Queensland within a moist southeasterly airflow.
