A surface trough extends across Western Australia to southeastern Australia,
linking up with a cold front east of Tasmania in Tasman Sea. Associated low to
middle level cloud is affecting mainly the southeast parts of the country.

Another weak cold front can be seen to the west of Tasmania.

Middle level cloud is streaming across the Pilbara District of Western Australia
and is associated with a tropical low located further to the northwest.

The remainder of the country is relatively cloud free due high pressure ridges.
