Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 15 September 2014.
Issued at 5:55 am EST Tuesday on 16 September 2014
A trough stretches from the south of Queensland through NSW to a low in the north of Victoria. The trough and low is producing a broad area of cloud with isolated thunderstorms. Cloud associated with the low is also affecting parts of Tasmania and the southeast of South Australia.
Patchy middle level cloud about southern-central parts of WA is due to a middle level disturbance.
The remainder of Australia is mostly cloud free apart from some patchy low cloud about the far southwest of Western Australia and also parts of the tropical coast of Queensland within a light onshore airflow.
