Cellular cloud affecting Tasmania and the southeast parts of Australia is
associated with a large area of cold air which extends into the Tasman Sea.
Thunderstorms can be seen within this cold airmass, mainly over the Tasman Sea.

A cold front lies off the west coast of Western Australia with associated cloud
affecting the southwest parts of Western Australia. Cellular cloud is visible in
the cold air to the west of the front. Middle level cloud is streaming
southwards over the southern inland areas of Western Australia, ahead of an
upper trough.

The remainder of the country is mostly clear under the influence of a high
pressure ridge.
