The area of high and mid level cloud over eastern Qld has moved out over the
Tasman Sea. This is being driven by both an upper level and a surface trough.
Remaining over southeast Qld northeast NSW is a large area of low cloud.

Weak surface troughs and an upper air disturbance are responsible for the middle
level cloud across parts of WA, SA and southern NT. A vigorous cold front is
crossing southwestern WA.

The north of the continent remains mostly cloud free.
