Tropical Cyclone Debbie (category 2) located to the east northeast of
Townsville. The rotation of this system can clearly be seen in the impressive
and extensive mass of cloud over the Coral Sea.

Tropical Cyclone Caleb (category 1) is currently situated to the southwest of
Indonesia in the Indian Ocean. TC Caleb is part of an active monsoon trough
which is producing extensive areas of thunderstorm activity across the north and
northwest of the country. Another low is located off the Kimberley coast of WA.


A cold front with associated band of cloud is moving towards Tasmania from the
Bight.
