A surface trough stretching from the Gulf of Carpentaria to eastern South
Australia is generating thunderstorms and middle level cloud all the way from
the Gulf to Tasmania.

A moist tropical airmass and a trough stretching from southern parts of WA to
the Top End is producing patches of low level cloud and isolated thunderstorms.

Southerly winds are causing low cloud over the Great Australian Bight and parts
of the South Australian coast.
