Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 29 November 2014

Issued at 12:55 pm EDT Saturday on 29 November 2014

A broad area of low pressure covers much of northern and central parts of the country. A trough extends from northern WA, through the Interior to the SA/WA southern border. Another trough extends from the central Australia, into central NSW. The low pressure area and troughs are generating mid level cloud and isolated thunderstorms. High cloud is streaming over South Australia and Victoria.

Low level cloud over southern WA and eastern coastal areas is caused by the moist onshore airflow.
