A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is directing a moist onshore
airstream onto the north QLD coast.

An upper level disturbance and a surface trough is generating a large area of
cloud and thunderstorms over the eastern and southeastern parts of the
continent, and extending over the Tasman Sea.

A cold front associated with a low pressure system to southwest of Tasmaina is
producing some cloud over eastern SA, western VIC and TAS.

Another cold front to the southwest of WA is producing some cloud over the far
southwest of the State.
