A low pressure system over the southeast of South Australia is continuing to
generate a mass of middle and high level cloud which is streaming across
southeastern Australia.

The trough connects with another low near the Queensland/Northern Territory
border and is generating large areas of thunderstorm activity over the northern
tropics.

A strong upper level low over the the northern interior of Queensland is
combining with a very moist north to northeasterly airstream. This is resulting
in widespread cloud cover over much of Queensland. Thunderstorms remain active
over northern and eastern parts of the State.

A trough extending over western WA is resulting in areas of convective cloud
with thunderstorms over central western areas of the State.
