A mass of cloud over southern and central Western Australia and the Great Australian Bight is associated with a deepening surface trough to the west.
Scattered high cloud in the tropics accompanies isolated thunderstorm cloud.
A cold front over the eastern Tasman Sea is moving slowly east. Cold unstable air west of the front can be seen east of Tasmania.
Low cloud trapped under a subsidence inversion is over parts of Victoria and Tasmania.
