Its middle level cloud band that stretches from near Broome is now breaking up. In the wake of this front, low cloud is over parts of southern VIC and southeast SA. Enhanced tropical convection over the Coral Sea is gradually pushing onto the North Queensland coast. Areas of thick smoke, appearing as low cloud, can be seen over eastern NSW and parts of southeast QLD.
