Combination of a moist onshore flow and a weak surface trough is generating
showers near the southeast coast of Queensland and northern and central coasts
of New South Wales. This trough is being maintained by the cold air disturbance
to its west.

An extensive cloud band southwest of Tasmania is due to a cold front south of
the Bight.

Areas of low cloud have formed over southwest WA in an onshore airstream
directed by the high pressure ridge.

The remainder of the country remains dry and mostly clear.
