IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC Chart 01 June 2016 Issued at 5:09 pm EST Wednesday on 01 June 2016 An upper level disturbance is producing middle level cloud and isolated thunderstorms about the eastern Interior of Western Australia and the northwest South Australia. A low and trough to the northwest of Australia has generated a broad area of cloud and thunderstorms over ocean waters to the northwest of Australia. Cloud from this system can be seen streaming over the Pilbara region. Another trough over Queensland is generating a broad middle level cloud band which extends from the northwest to the southeast of the state. Patches of low cloud over the east coasts of Queensland and New South Wales are due to an onshore wind flow.
