An upper level disturbance is generating middle to upper level cloud and areas
of vigorous thunderstorms through central parts of Western Australia and South
Australia, as well as over the Kimberley region and into the Northern Territory.
The northern section of the cloud band also stretches further east into
Queensland.

Another low pressure trough over the Tasman Sea in combination with a high
pressure system east of Victoria are maintaining a moist onshore flow over the
eastern seaboard, generating areas of low cloud.

A developing low pressure system is generating middle to upper level cloud
through the Bight and through South Australia and western Victoria.

Moist onshore flow is also generating areas of low level cloud over southern
coastal regions of WA.
