A cloud band associated with an upper trough is streaming over the Northern
Territory to central Queensland. Isolated thunderstorms remain active near the
Kimberley coast and about the Gulf Country of Queensland. Showers and
thunderstorms are also visible over the Northwest Slopes and Plains of NSW.
Areas of low cloud extend over the NSW coast and ranges due to onshore winds.

Further west, a cloud band is moving through the Bight with thunderstorms on the
western flank. Low cloud extends over the southwest of Western Australia with
cold fronts tracking over the Southern Ocean.

High level cloud is drifting into western Victoria and NSW ahead of the change
across the Bight. Mostly clear skies persist over the remainder of southeastern
Australia with a high pressure system located to the southeast of Tasmania.
